El Universo Warcraft es el mundo, historia y saber del juego creado por Blizzard Entertainment que inicia con el título de Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. Esta página contiene información acerca de fuentes oficiales del saber de Warcraft.

Juegos[]

Los juegos de ordenador fueron el origen del universo Warcraft y siguen siendo su objetivo principal. Mucho ha cambiado en la historia desde Warcraft: Orcs & Humans; con cada nueva versión, se expande enormemente el mundo y la revisión del su pasado.

Warcraft I introdujo el conflicto básico entre orcos y humanos, así como a los personajes de Medivh, Llane, Garona y Lothar.

Warcraft II expandió el mundo más allá del continente de Azeroth para incluir Khaz Modan y Lordaeron. Los enanos, altos elfos, trolls, goblins y la Legión Ardiente fueron introducidos, así como otros personajes.

Warcraft III expandió el mundo otra vez introduciendo los continentes de Kalimdor y Northrend, una detallada historia de fondo con las crónicas del mundo de Azeroth, y varias nuevas razas incluyendo los elfos nocturnos, tauren y el Azote.

World of Warcraft ha continuado esta tendencia, al permitir a los jugadores experimentar casi todo el mundo colosal.
